Facts about IHTTI
IHTTI is one of the longest established English language hotel management schools in Switzerland. Founded in 1984, IHTTI has developed an international reputation in the hospitality industry for the quality of its programmes and the calibre of its graduates, many of whom are working in leading management positions in the industry.
IHTTI welcomes students from around the world, creating a diverse and multicultural learning environment, similar to the working environment graduates will find in today’s international hospitality industry. Each semester approximately 200 students from more than 50 countries choose IHTTI for their hospitality studies.

IHTTI is officially registered under the name IHTTI, International Hotel and Tourism Training Institute |
| 1986 |
IHTTI opens in a small village in the Canton of Lucerne. |
| 1988 |
IHTTI moves to its new and larger facilities in the city centre of Lucerne. |
| 1990 | IHTTI moves to its present location: Neuchâtel |
| 2001 | Validation of IHTTI Higher Diploma by the Canton of Neuchâtel. |
| 2004 | IHTTI becomes a member of SEG, Swiss Education Group. |
| 2005 | IHTTI becomes a member of ASEH, Swiss Hotel Schools Association. |
| 2008 | Renovation of school facilities are completed. |
| 2008 | New partner University for the bachelors Degree, University of Derby, (UK) |
