Jaco von Wielligh
Academic Dean
Mr von Wielligh obtained a B.Com and B.Com (Hons) from the Free State University in South Africa, as well as a MBA from the University of Wales. In 2008 he was awarded with a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management from Swiss Hotel Management School, Leysin. In 2010 he also obtained the CHE (Certified Hospitality Educator) certificate from the AH&LA (American Hotel & Lodging Association).
After gaining extensive experience as general manager, in the fields of industrial and mining equipment, automotive vehicles and transport, at various international companies in South Africa, Mr von Wielligh joined the IHTTI team in August 2009, where he lecturerd the 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, Postgraduate and BA (Hons) students in various Food and Beverage and Management modules.
From February 2011, he took on the position of Academic Dean and BA Programme Manager.
He has a passion for developing students' managerial and leadership skills.
